Mothers On A Mission

Teen pregnancy can be a traumatic experience, especially for those who lack family support or face abuse. MOMs focuses on holistic development, helping young mothers build the mental and emotional strength to navigate life’s challenges.

About Us

Mothers on a Mission for Change (MOMs) is a 6-month social intervention program designed to support teen moms aged 16-19 from St. Thomas and St. Catherine. This transformative initiative provides resilience training and business development education, equipping young mothers with the skills and confidence needed to rebuild their lives, achieve financial independence, and break the cycle of poverty.

Teen motherhood comes with unique challenges, from economic instability to social stigma and limited career opportunities. MOMs addresses these issues by empowering young mothers with essential life skills, business acumen, and a supportive community to help them thrive.
